Product Description of Titanium Alloy Flanges

• Material selection: Industrial pure titanium and titanium alloys that comply with the GB/T 3620.1 standard are adopted. Among them, the tensile strength of TC4 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) is ≥ 895 MPa, and the elongation of TA2 pure titanium is ≥ 20%, meeting the requirements of different pressure grades.
• Core performance: Resistant to acid and alkali corrosion (able to withstand media with concentrations ≤ 50% such as sulfuric acid and nitric acid), resistant to high temperatures (long-term operating temperature range from -253°C to 600°C), non-magnetic, and has good biocompatibility, suitable for use in special environments.

Covering mainstream standards such as the Chinese National Standard (GB/T 12459), the American Standard (ANSI B16.5), and the European Standard (EN 1092-1), the specific parameters are as follows:

Pressure rating: PN1.0 - PN42.0, Class 150 - Class 250

IV. Processing and Production Flow
1. Raw material pretreatment: The titanium alloy billet undergoes flaw detection (UT/RT) to ensure there are no internal defects;
2. Forging: The isothermal forging process is adopted, with the forging temperature controlled at 800-900℃ to ensure the integrity of the metal flow lines.
3. Precision Machining: The sealing surface and bolt holes are processed by CNC lathes, with a precision of IT7 grade and a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 1.6 μm.
4. Surface treatment: Chemical pickling to remove scale, optional passivation treatment to enhance corrosion resistance.
5. Quality Inspection: Each piece shall undergo dimensional inspection, hydrostatic test (1.5 times the design pressure), and non-destructive testing. Only after passing these tests can the products be released from the factory.
