Wall Thickness: 0.2 - 4.5mm

3. Inspection and Acceptance
Chemical composition analysis, tensile test, flattening test, hydrostatic test, pneumatic test, bending test, non-destructive testing (ultrasonic flaw detection), flaring test, and appearance quality inspection.
Chemical composition analysis shall be conducted in accordance with GB/T4698.
The tensile test is conducted in accordance with GB/T228.
The flattening test is conducted in accordance with GB/T246.
The hydraulic test shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T 241.
The air pressure test shall be conducted in the manner agreed upon by both the supplier and the buyer.
The bending test is conducted in accordance with GB/T244.
Non-destructive testing methods: For pipe materials within the size range specified in GB/T12969, ultrasonic and eddy current testing shall be conducted in accordance with GB/T12969. For those exceeding the size range specified in GB/T12969, manual ultrasonic flaw detection is permitted.
The flaring test is conducted in accordance with GB/T 242.
Visual inspection is carried out to check for damages, scratches, etc.

III. Comparison between GB/T3624 and GB/T3625
From the detailed comparison of the above two standards, it can be seen that the main difference between titanium tubes for heat exchangers, condensers and pressure vessels and ordinary titanium tubes lies in the fact that the latter includes two important items, namely flaring test and non-destructive testing, in the inspection methods. This puts forward higher requirements for the plasticity index of the material and the scale of microscopic defects.
